I was a flight stewardess with our national carrier for 4 years, travelling around the world and interacting with people from all walks of life. I like to think that I began my UX journey here - working with a wide pool of users, each one with their own little idiosyncrasies.

Being stuck in a chunk of metal suspended thousands of feet up in the air really brings out the best in everyone. It requires adaptability, empathy, teamwork, and a heap of patience to understand passengers' needs and deliver the level of customer service that they crave.

Also, problem solving and creativity often work hand in hand in defusing some of the toughest customer service situations. You'd like some Nong Shim cup noodles in the middle of the night? Let me figure out a way to get that to you without alerting the other 300 passengers that this is an option.

Outside of work, I have a budding interest in photography that has helped me to develop a better appreciation of aesthetics. I also thoroughly enjoy Pixar films and the occasional reality series on Netflix.

Now as a UI/UX designer, I am constantly working on blending my customer service experience with my foundation in communication studies to create a personal design philosophy that focuses on empathetic problem solving.

Feel free to reach out to me if you would like to discuss anything at all!
